About Ryan Wuerch

Ryan Wuerch founded Solavei in 2012 with leading investors and executives and developed it into the first social commerce network by engaging consumers to share mobile service with their friends. Over the course of three years, more than 400,000 people signed up for the mobile Solavei service and did more than $140 million in revenue. During this time, Solavei members collectively earned over $40 million for being the advertising voice of the company’s. Ryan Wuerch and his team shut Solavei down in 2015 after the end of its contract with T-Mobile, but the technologies that it developed continue to impact people’s lives through several other companies.

Before establishing Solavei, Ryan Wuerch founded and built Motricity into a global leader in mobile data services over the course of a decade. Motricity provided services to the world’s top mobile carriers and media brands, including Verizon, AT&T, Universal, MTV, Telefonica, and Axiata. The company went public in 2010 and reached a market value in excess of $1 billion. Currently, he is involved with DOSH, a new cash reward platform.

Outside of work, Ryan Wuerch maintains an active lifestyle focused on fitness. Each week, he runs 40 to 70 miles. In total, he has completed over 45 marathons.
